Next Tuesday voters will head to the polls, as the Grand Rapids City Commission is holding two primaries in the 1st and 2nd ward. This week, WGVU is profiling the six candidates running for those two Commission seats.
Christine Mullan is a social worker, community organizer and mother. Mullan is running for City Commissioner in Grand Rapids 1st Ward, and WGVU asked Mullan three questions:
Why are you running for City Commission? What issues facing Grand Rapids are most important to you personally, and if elected, what can the 2nd Ward and the City of Grand Rapids expect under your leadership?
Listen to Mullan's response above.
