Armed Robbery in Grand Rapids has police looking for suspect

The Grand Rapids Police Department is looking for a suspect who robbed a victim at gunpoint downtown. Police officials say the man displayed a gun before stealing the victim’s backpack. The robbery took place on Monday, February 6th at around 9pm in the area of Ottawa Avenue and Weston Street in Grand Rapids.

The suspect is described as a black male, 15-25 years of age, with shoulder length dreadlock hair. He is 5’10” and around 180 pounds, and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black shorts at the time of the robbery. Police officials are asking the public if they recognize the suspect or know of his whereabouts.
