Caledonia high-tech firming expanding and adding jobs

West Michigan’s high-tech industry continues to out-pace the national average. Now, heading into 2017 comes the announcement of the expansion of a West Michigan technology.

NVINT Services is on a fast track for growth. The Caledonia-based company that says it “blends physical and virtual strategies into information technology solutions.”

Keeping up with demand, NVINT is making a $364,000 investment that will allow it to grow its facilities and create 26 new jobs.

To make it happen, regional nonprofit economic development organization The Right Place assisted NVINT securing a $175,000 Michigan Economic Development Corporation grant.

The Right Place says West Michigan’s IT Sector Job growth “continues to outpace the national average by double-digit percentage points, 20 percent in West Michigan compared to the national average of 11.6 percent since 2009.”
