One month ago Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton held a four percent lead over Republican Donald Trump in Michigan.
Now, with less than a month before voters head to the polls, Lansing-based Epic-MRA says Clinton has extended the lead to double-digits over the GOP nominee.
Epic-MRA polled 600 registered Michigan voters, 30-percent of those surveyed by cellphone, October 1st through the 3rd just days after the first Presidential debate.
In a head-to-head matchup, the Epic-MRA poll has Democrat Hillary Clinton surging to a 10 point lead over Donald Trump. Participants were asked if the election for President were held today, who would they vote for? Clinton received 46 percent of the total vote to Trump’s 36.
If the election were held today in a four-way matchup of candidates, Clinton extends her lead by one percentage over Trump in the state. Clinton garnering 43 percent of the total vote, Trump receiving 32 percent, 10 for Libertarian Gary Johnson and three percent for Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
12-percent of voters surveyed remain undecided.
The Epic-MRA margin for error is plus/minus 4 percent.
