Donald Trump in Grand Rapids again

non-licensed

He's back.

Donald Trump is returning to Grand Rapids Friday evening as part of his nationwide “thank you tour.” It’s the first time Donald Trump has been back to Michigan since his election as President.

One month ago, Trump held a rally in Grand Rapids with Vice President-elect Mike Pence the day before the election. Just a week before that, he held a rally in Grand Rapids on October 31st.

The time campaigning in the area may have paid off. Donald Trump won the state of Michigan over Hillary Clinton by about 10,000 votes. The last time Michigan voted for the Republican nominee in a presidential race was 1988.

The rally will be held at the DeltaPlex Arena at 7pm, and the public can register online for the event.

A "thanks but no thanks" protest of Trump is also scheduled this late afternoon at Rosa Parks Circle in Grand Rapids.
