EPIC-MRA polls GOP voters ahead of Michigan Primary

www.conservativedailyreview.com

The Michigan Primary is tomorrow. Another state poll asking Republican voters who they’ll vote for has been released.

Donald Trump is the Republican candidate to beat Tuesday in Michigan. An EPIC-MRA survey of 400 registered Republicans indicates 29% will vote for Donald Trump in Tuesday’s Michigan Primary followed by Ted Cruz with 19%, Marco Rubio at 18% and John Kasich with 8%. Ben Carson also polled at 8%, where do his votes go?

“Rubio and Kasich would both get 26% of his vote with the rest going to Trump and a little bit to Cruz.  That is likely to increase Rubio’s numbers.”

That’s EPIC-MRA President, Bernie Porn.

“And when you look at the undecided voters Rubio has a very high favorability number among those who are undecided higher than the other candidates. So it’s likely as the undecideds make up their minds that Rubio could benefit from that

Porn says turnout will be a factor.

“If the turnout is lower than expected Cruz would be close to Trump by a few points among Evangelical and Born Again Christians Cruz is actually up by a point or two over Trump and so Trump is not winning among Evangelicals to the degree he did in some of the other states. In Michigan it’s pretty even up.”

The poll says “Among the 60% of respondents who always vote in GOP primary elections, Trump only leads Cruz by 2 points.”

When it comes to a top second choice, it’s Rubio receiving 26% of the vote followed by John Kasich with 18%.
