Weekly we focus on the work of area organizations advancing inclusion and equity in our community. This morning we hear from Dee Obreht, Executive Director of the Criminal Justice Chaplaincy. Their mission is to restore returning citizens to the community through Christ's teaching, love and compassion. Their vision is to provide supportive services that assist individuals returning from incarceration and those affected by their actions, decisions, and plans, to overcome barriers, address needs, and become productive in their community. Joining Dee is WGVU grant writer, Steve Chappell, project director of WGVU’s grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in the area of racial equity.
A WGVU initiative in partnership with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation using on-air programs and community events to explore issues of inclusion and equity.
