IP Consulting expanding and hiring in Kentwood

A west Michigan IT firm is expanding and creating new jobs Michigan Celebrates Small Business, an organization supporting entrepreneurs, ranks Kentwood-based IP Consulting as one of Michigan’s top 50 companies to watch in 2016.

Now, the west Michigan business community is watching it grow.

IP Consulting is known for its IT solutions providing cyber security expertise and the design and implementation of network infrastructure to name a few.

A certified Cisco partner, IP Consulting says over the past three years demand for services grew 507% leading the company to explore expansion possibilities in the state of Virginia offering a larger talent pool and bringing it closer to Washington D.C. customers.

Regional non-profit economic development organization, The Right Place, and The Michigan Economic Development Corporation, along with the City of Kentwood stepped in with a $180,000 performance grant.

With that, IP Consulting will make a $699,000 capital investment at its 29th Street location in Kentwood and add 25 new jobs.
