The core values of the U.S. Presidency have come into question in recent months and have been hotly debated by President Donald Trump supporters and his critics. Grand Valley State University’s Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies tackled the topic of “Character and the Presidency” last night with best-selling author, Ronald White, who has written a number of books on American presidents including “American Ulysses.” He was joined by New York Times columnist and NPR and PBS News Hour commentator David Brooks.
