The Muskegon Police Department is investigating the discovery of a noose at an area school playground.

Muskegon Police were made aware Sunday evening of Facebook posts containing pictures of noose hanging from playground equipment. The information officers received were that the posts were made by an area man and the photos of the noose were taken at Glenside School. When officers arrived at the school located along West Hackley Avenue the noose was gone. But after checking in with Muskegon Public Schools officials the noose had been removed earlier in the day.

The rope is now in the hands of Muskegon Police Department detectives investigating the case who could use your help.
