Republican Rep. Roger Victory has won his third term serving Michigan’s 88th House District. The Hudsonville resident won with three quarters of the vote defeating Democratic challenger Kim Nagy 75 to 25 percent.

Victory tells us he has more work to do in Lansing.

“There’s some issues coming forward, specifically in some dealings with some agricultural issues which is near and dear to my heart. Besides a State Representative I’m also a farmer and business owner so there’s also some things that I’ll be dealing with on that specific issue. We have some energy policy coming forward that I hope to have a voice in that matter and just in all those issues and serving the hard working men and women of the 88th District.”

The incumbent is term limited. Victory describes his third term victory as sentimental.
