Shelley Irwin


 Shelley hosts and produces The WGVU Morning Show from 9-11 a.m., featuring a wide variety of local and national newsmakers plus special features. Shelley also hosts the PBS Community Affairs programs Ask the Expert and Community Connection. She has been honored with five consecutive AWRT Gracie Allen Awards for Outstanding Individual Achievement as Program Host. Shelley is active in the community, and keeps busy in her spare time, including training for marathons and chasing after her two dogs.

Guests join in from GVSU's Seidman College of Business. Today we continue a conversation with Professor Kevin Callison and the interesting aspects of the recent state Medicaid expansions.

Today on the grounds of GRAM, the Greater Grand Rapids Women's History Council offers voter registration in honor of Women's Equality Day. Susan Coombes from the GRAM discusses this celebration of the passage of the 19th amendment which gave women the right to vote.
